BeGrounded EarthBand for Pets — PEMF Collar Band for Dogs and Cats
The same PEMF mechanism as the human EarthBand — two magnets connected by a copper infinity loop generating a 4 to 22Hz electromagnetic field through movement — built into a collar band designed for pets. No batteries, no charging, no electricity. Your dog or cat moves, the magnets cycle through their frequency range, and the PEMF field is generated continuously during their normal daily activity. Available in Burnt Orange, Black, Ocean Blue, and Forest Green. Currently out of stock at BeGrounded — back in stock shortly. From the UK's certified Earthing® distributor, founded by people with first-person health recovery experiences who extended their grounding philosophy to the animals they care about. GroundingMatrix lists this in the <a href="https://groundingmatrix.com/grounding-bands-patches">Grounding Bands & Accessories</a> category with the same honest framing applied to the human EarthBand: a PEMF wearable, not a conventional grounding product, with a different mechanism from the sheets and mats that form the core of our index.

Overview
The Same Mechanism — For the Animals in Your Life
GroundingMatrix reviewed the BeGrounded EarthBand PEMF bracelet for humans in detail. The EarthBand for Pets applies the identical mechanism to a collar band format designed for dogs and cats — the same two magnets connected by a copper infinity loop, the same 4 to 22Hz frequency range generated by movement, the same no-battery, no-charging, no-electricity design philosophy. The only differences are form factor — a collar band rather than a wrist bracelet — and the obvious scale adjustments for a dog or cat rather than a human wrist.
GroundingMatrix's honest framing from the human EarthBand review applies equally here. This is a PEMF wearable — it generates its own electromagnetic field rather than connecting to the Earth's charge through a grounded outlet. It doesn't function like a grounding sheet or mat. The proposed benefit is low-frequency electromagnetic field support for the animal's own bioelectrical regulatory systems, in the same Schumann resonance frequency range (4 to 22Hz) that the human version operates in. Whether this produces measurable outcomes in any specific animal will vary — and the research base for PEMF in veterinary contexts, while growing, is less developed than for humans.
What GroundingMatrix can say is that the mechanism is coherent, the construction is the same quality as the human version, and BeGrounded is a brand whose founders take grounding and PEMF seriously enough in their own lives to have extended the concept to their animals as a genuine extension of their wellness philosophy rather than as a commercial add-on.
How the Pet Band Works Differently From the Human Bracelet
The human EarthBand sits on a wrist, where the clasp with its two magnets and copper loop sits in proximity to the skin. Movement of the wrist activates the frequency generation. The pet band works on the same principle but adapted for collar wear — the band attaches to or replaces a section of the pet's existing collar, or functions as a standalone collar attachment, with the clasp containing the magnets positioned against or near the pet's neck and activated by the natural movement of the animal throughout the day.
Dogs, by virtue of their activity level during walks, play, and normal daily movement, will cycle through the full 4 to 22Hz frequency range more dramatically and more frequently than a resting human might. More active animals produce more movement-driven frequency variation from the same mechanism — which is the same physics that makes the human EarthBand more active during exercise than during rest.
Cats, being more sedentary on average than dogs, will spend more time in the lower frequency ranges — the 4 to 8Hz theta range — during their extended rest periods. Whether this is therapeutically relevant for cats specifically is not a claim GroundingMatrix will make on limited evidence, but it's consistent with the mechanism operating the same way for any animal wearing the band.
Four Colours — Same Clasp Construction as the Human Version
The EarthBand for Pets is available in four colour options: Burnt Orange, Black, Ocean Blue, and Forest Green — four of the six colours available in the human version. The clasp construction is identical to the human EarthBand: 96.77% brass, 1.39% iron and nickel, 2 microns of platinum electroplating (0.3g), and 0.45% copper. The same nickel content disclosure that GroundingMatrix flagged for humans with nickel sensitivities applies here — relevant for pets with known skin sensitivities, and worth raising with a vet if your animal has a history of contact reactions to metal.
The band material is the same polyester paracord as the human version — lightweight, adjustable via the sliding mechanism, and durable enough for the outdoor use that most dogs subject their accessories to. The mycelium symbol on the clasp — representing the energy network connecting all living systems — appears on the pet version as on the human one, a design choice that reflects BeGrounded's broader philosophy about the interconnected nature of life and the Earth's energy systems.
Stock Availability — Currently Out of Stock
At the time of GroundingMatrix's review, the EarthBand for Pets is listed as out of stock on BeGrounded's website with a "Back in stock very soon" notice. GroundingMatrix flags this clearly rather than presenting the product as immediately available. Check the BeGrounded product page directly for current stock status before adding to any purchasing plan. Given the product's out-of-stock status, GroundingMatrix recommends signing up to BeGrounded's notification list if you want to be alerted when stock returns rather than checking back manually.
A Note on PEMF for Pets — What the Research Does and Doesn't Show
PEMF therapy in veterinary contexts has been studied most extensively in equine (horse) orthopaedic applications — there's meaningful peer-reviewed research on PEMF for wound healing, bone repair, and pain management in horses, and a growing body of work on dogs specifically in post-surgical recovery contexts. Clinical veterinary PEMF devices have been used in these settings with regulatory clearance in several countries. The EarthBand for Pets is not a clinical veterinary PEMF device — it's a low-field-strength wearable generating much lower field intensity than clinical devices, and GroundingMatrix doesn't present it as equivalent to clinical PEMF therapy.
What GroundingMatrix does say is that the frequency range the EarthBand operates in (4 to 22Hz) is within the range studied in the broader PEMF literature, and that the general principle — that low-frequency electromagnetic fields may support cellular function, reduce inflammation, and promote calm in animals — is consistent with the direction of veterinary PEMF research even if not directly proven by the specific device format of the EarthBand. Buyers should approach this product as a wellness accessory in a plausible category rather than a proven veterinary intervention, and should consult their vet before use if their pet has any specific health conditions, pacemakers, or is scheduled for MRI scans (the band must not be worn inside an MRI machine).

Care Instructions
The paracord band can be wiped with a damp cloth and allowed to dry fully before the pet wears it again. Do not submerge — extended water exposure will stretch the paracord and may tarnish the metal clasp over time, though incidental exposure to rain or splashing won't damage the PEMF mechanism. Standard jewellery cleaner can be used on the metal clasp if tarnishing occurs. Do not use inside an MRI machine. Consult your vet if your pet has a pacemaker before use.

Customer Reviews (1 approved)
I already use the human EarthBand myself and found it through GroundingMatrix. When I saw the pet version on BeGrounded I ordered it for my border collie, Arlo — he's high energy and can be quite reactive on walks. He's been wearing it for about five weeks now. The only change I've made is the band on his collar. His post-walk wind-down has been noticeably faster — the period of restlessness he usually has after a stimulating walk has shortened considerably. Whether that's the PEMF, the placebo effect on me affecting how I read his behaviour, or just normal variation I genuinely can't say. What I can say is that I notice it, my partner notices it without me prompting, and Arlo doesn't try to take it off which he does with anything he finds uncomfortable. Waiting for the restock to get a second one in orange.
