The EarthBand for Pets applies the identical mechanism to a collar band format designed for dogs and cats — the same two magnets connected by a copper infinity loop, the same 4 to 22Hz frequency range generated by movement, the same no-battery, no-charging, no-electricity design philosophy. The only differences are form factor — a collar band rather than a wrist bracelet — and the obvious scale adjustments for a dog or cat rather than a human wrist.

GroundingMatrix's honest framing from the human EarthBand review applies equally here. This is a PEMF wearable — it generates its own electromagnetic field rather than connecting to the Earth's charge through a grounded outlet. It doesn't function like a grounding sheet or mat. The proposed benefit is low-frequency electromagnetic field support for the animal's own bioelectrical regulatory systems, in the same Schumann resonance frequency range (4 to 22Hz) that the human version operates in. Whether this produces measurable outcomes in any specific animal will vary — and the research base for PEMF in veterinary contexts, while growing, is less developed than for humans.

How the Pet Band Works Differently From the Human Bracelet

Cats, being more sedentary on average than dogs, will spend more time in the lower frequency ranges — the 4 to 8Hz theta range — during their extended rest periods. Whether this is therapeutically relevant for cats specifically is not a claim GroundingMatrix will make on limited evidence, but it's consistent with the mechanism operating the same way for any animal wearing the band.

Four Colours — Same Clasp Construction as the Human Version

The EarthBand for Pets is available in four colour options: Burnt Orange, Black, Ocean Blue, and Forest Green — four of the six colours available in the human version. The clasp construction is identical to the human EarthBand: 96.77% brass, 1.39% iron and nickel, 2 microns of platinum electroplating (0.3g), and 0.45% copper. The same nickel content disclosure that GroundingMatrix flagged for humans with nickel sensitivities applies here — relevant for pets with known skin sensitivities, and worth raising with a vet if your animal has a history of contact reactions to metal.

The band material is the same polyester paracord as the human version — lightweight, adjustable via the sliding mechanism, and durable enough for the outdoor use that most dogs subject their accessories to. A Note on PEMF for Pets — What the Research Does and Doesn't Show

PEMF therapy in veterinary contexts has been studied most extensively in equine (horse) orthopaedic applications — there's meaningful peer-reviewed research on PEMF for wound healing, bone repair, and pain management in horses, and a growing body of work on dogs specifically in post-surgical recovery contexts. Clinical veterinary PEMF devices have been used in these settings with regulatory clearance in several countries. Care Instructions

The paracord band can be wiped with a damp cloth and allowed to dry fully before the pet wears it again. Do not submerge — extended water exposure will stretch the paracord and may tarnish the metal clasp over time, though incidental exposure to rain or splashing won't damage the PEMF mechanism. Standard jewellery cleaner can be used on the metal clasp if tarnishing occurs. Do not use inside an MRI machine. Consult your vet if your pet has a pacemaker before use.
